saturday was ’sun’day
We’d like to thank the local meteorologist who planned the Sunny Summer Saturday in Seattle. We spent the entire day out in the yard picking, weeding, trimming, mowing, planting, and digging…oh and torturing earthworms.
Note to the ASPCA: No animals (worms) were actually harmed in the taking of this photo.

Wasn’t it a glorious day?!
And then here comes today with the rain and the gray and the gloom. Bah!

Oh no! Poor earth worms. It looks like a beautiful day. We have actually had a couple of really nice days too. Although it is hard to have a garden in the middle of the city. I wish we did. Have a great weekend.

Such a cute shot. And don’t you just love spring? Even with the totally ridiculous allergies I have I still can’t help loving getting back outside again… and what a long dragging winter it was. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it.

Mine tortured worms a few weeks ago. The squeals from their wiggling created lots of laughter. Luckily a few managed to make it out alive and got to move into the compost bin!
