Charlie’s first visit to the Apple store in Seattle.
Haven’t had much of a chance to update the news lately. All is going well, although there isn’t much sleeping going on between feedings, burpings, and changings. I have been adding photos to the image gallery, so be sure to check back often.
A few memorable moments of the past couple of weeks:
Sunday, Aug 6th. We had dinner at my parent’s house with some extended family. It was Charlie’s first “Eastside” experience and more importantly it was his first time being used as the third passenger in the 520 carpool lane. This was actually one of the top items on my “Pros” list for having kids. Other items on the list included ‘excuse to buy disney dvd collection’ and ‘can assist in chores such as cleaning out the crawl space and mowing the lawn’.
Saturday, Aug 12th. When changing Charlie out of his PJs in the morning, I had noticed that he, all of the sudden, had a belly-button (innie). Since we didn’t make soup out of the placenta, I suppose we should at least keep the umbilical cord for a special occasion.
Also today was Charlie’s first trip to the Apple store. He did NOT want to leave.

Charlie’s first visit to the Ballard Locks
Sunday, Aug 13th. We took Charlie and Pedro to the Ballard Locks. I tried explaining to Charlie how the locks worked; but he seemed disinterested. Pedro, on the other hand, had a great time Flirting with dogs on boats.
Monday, August 14th. Now that his belly-button is visible, Charlie is allowed to get real baths…so he got his first one today.
